Kasilof
Kasilof is a small, unincorporated community located on the Kenai Peninsula in southern Alaska, about 19 kilometers (12 miles) south of Kenai and along the Sterling Highway.

Geography
Kasilof is situated near the Kasilof River, which flows from Tustumena Lake into Cook Inlet. The area is known for its natural beauty, with forests, rivers, and proximity to both Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and the coastline of Cook Inlet.
Climate
Kasilof has a subarctic climate, with long, cold winters and short, mild summers. Average summer temperatures range from 50°F to 65°F (10°C to 18°C), while winter temperatures can drop below 0°F (-18°C).
