RoughWoods Inn earns its name from the rustic décor of this cozy, family friendly café and inn. The chain-saw carved bear who greats visitors at the front door as well as the numerous wood carvings inside the dinning room were the work of Larry Coy, husband of owner Ruth.  Meet “Earl the Burl” as well as other burl fixtures throughout the café. These burls made their way via riverboat to Nenana from the Coy homestead on the Kantishna River.
