Join us in Seward for one of Alaska’s largest and oldest fishing derbies!
The Seward Silver Salmon Derby is a long-time family
favorite for Alaskans and visitors alike. The annual
competition brings anglers to Resurrection Bay each August
in a bid to bring in the largest silver salmon.
The 69th Annual Seward Silver Salmon Derby will be held from Saturday, August 10 to Sunday, August 18, 2024.
It begins at 6 a.m. and continues every day of the derby until 9 p.m., except for the last day it will end at noon.
