Johnson’s Crossing offers full service campsites with 20 and 30 amp power plus tent camping dry sites too.
Our STORE AND BAKERY features our famous giant cinnamon buns, cherry, apple, and blueberry turnovers, fresh baked butter tarts, fresh bread, and meat pies. Try some of our homemade hamburgers for lunch or supper, french toast, pancakes, bacon / eggs for breakfast and ask about some of the meals made from our our garden. All of our meals are home cooked and we can usually accommodate any special dietary needs.
Our souvenir shop includes books and maps, locally made handcrafts, blankets, locally bottled Birch Syrup, jams, jellies and more. Our stocks are always changing and if there is something that you would like but can’t take it with you, we will be happy to ship it to you.
We have an excellent setting for landscape photography in the mountains, along the river and through-out the area.
Johnson’s Crossing Lodge is the the south-end of the Canol Road, historical highway #6 that takes you right into the North West Territories. Starting at Johnsons Crossing Lodge where there is food and fuel for your dual-sport motorcycle or Jeep, Toyota or 4×4, head north east along the Canol Road towards Quiet Lake. From there, continue north east to major highway #4 and Ross River, YT, a town of just over 300 people and the place where the ferry will carry you across Pelly River. After that, you are on your own till the end of the Canol Road.
Johnson’s Crossing Lodge is located at historical mile 836 of the Alaska Highway on Highway #1 in the Yukon. You can find the entrance to our campground, hotel, gas station and restaurant just after the long Teslin River bridge as you are heading north towards Whitehorse, YT.
