Nikiski is an unincorporated community located on the Kenai Peninsula, northwest of the city of Kenai, along the eastern shore of Cook Inlet. It’s accessible via the Kenai Spur Highway.

As of the 2020 U.S. Census, Nikiski has a population of approximately 4,400 people. It is classified as a census-designated place (CDP).
